Specifically, on May 2, thanks to the news of a citizen through the hotline 1800-1522, Police Department of Environmental Crime Prevention, Quang Binh Police Department has rescued a vooc being captive at a local construction site. Earlier, after discovering that a turtle had been kept in a restaurant in Ba Ria Vung Tau, a foreigner informed ENV. Identifying this tortoise as a rare and endangered green turtles, ENV quickly worked with local authorities to handle it. On April 26, the Environmental Police and Ba Ria Vung Tau Fisheries Sub-Department inspected and confiscated a 4kg Turtles turtle. The turtle was then released back to its local waters.
