Activity news

Tính đến tháng 12/2019, có 302 cá thế hổ đang bị nuôi nhốt tại Việt Nam. Trong đó, 248 cá thể đang bị nuôi nhốt tại 17 trang trại và sở thú tư nhân. Số còn lại thuộc sở hữu của các vườn thú và các trung tâm cứu hộ của Nhà nước. Hầu hết các trang trại nuôi hổ tại Việt Nam đều nhập hổ từ những nguồn cung bất hợp pháp như các đường dây buôn lậu động vật hoang dã trái phép từ các nước Lào, Campuchia, Thái Lan hoặc những trang trại gây nuôi hổ ở phía nam Việt Nam. Một số trang trại hổ cũng trực tiếp tham gia vào hoạt động buôn lậu hổ xuyên quốc gia.
